    1. Gloria motions to approve the agenda, Vivian seconds. Motion passes.

        1. The group divides into breakout rooms to discuss the first 22 proposals.
      4. Proposals 1-22
        1. Debrief: Lots of compromise, the groups moved quickly after a few minutes.
        2. Brynna reviews the language to use in making allocations (restricted vs specific, noting why items are funded).
        3. Proposals not addressed today will be voted on next week.
    3. Motion time!
      1. #11 Welcome Leaders: Vivian notes that the school seems to feel strongly about this program, and will receive other sources of funding as well. Alvin motions to fund Welcome Leaders for $35,000 with no restrictions, Charlene seconds. No objections. Brynna notes that this may be too critical of a program to fund solely with SFAC funding.
      2. #19 CAPS Peer Education Program: Alvin notes that CAPS is a critical program and that SFAC should make sure it has resources. He motions to fund $15,000, Mathew seconds.
      3. #14 Graduate Student Peer Mentorship Program: Vivian’s group thought that tutoring is important, but this the first time running this program and there are no testimonials or experiences to reflect on. A higher amount of funding may not be the best choice for a new program. Mathew notes that SFAC often seed funds new programs, and likes the idea of providing money and letting the program develop on its own. Maryann’s group was not sure about the group’s minimum amount of funding needed, and if it was an “all or nothing” situation.
        1. Temperature check: across the board with comfort of funding at proposed amount.
        2. Stephanie funded a little more in her notes, there are a lot of undergrad peer tutoring programs but few grad tutoring options.
        3. Charlene motions to fund $21,500 for 10 mentors. No seconds.
        4. Mathew proposes $35,000.
        5. Vivian motions to fund $30,000, Alvin seconds. No objections, motion passes

    1. Alvin motions to adjourn, Maryann seconds. No objections, meeting adjourned.
