  3. Council on Student Fees (CSF)
    1. Election of SFAC Campaign Coordinator
      1. This position will come with a stipend increase
      2. Position involves talking with campus administration and getting the word out to the wider student population.
      3. Elections were postponed since no one present was interested in applying for the position.
    2. Fall CSF Nov 16-17 @ UCLA

  4. Student Services Fee and Measure 7 Presentation (Lisa)
    1. Lisa has to step out, and will join us in a few minutes for her presentations
    2. Lisa began her presentation at 12:48pm. Link to presentation [add here]
    3. Need to spend money because even fee money could be taken
    4. Not looking at just core funds
    5. Maybe create a policy to automatically pause fees
    6. Funds for college governments to budget and planning and then gets distributed to the colleges
    7. Recommend to the EVC
    8. Some units with high carryforwards do get ssf/m7
    9. Manel: Do fees have same ssf restrictions
      1. Fees themselves have restrictions on their fees within within them
    10. Part of SSF goes to the colleges

      2. There are no comments or suggestions for the timeline. The current time line presented is very close to last year.

      1. Lauren: Make overview 20% and budget justification 30%
      2. Manel: Create a question about proposals getting other sources of funding for a proposal
      3. Manel: Proposes giving more points to those who have partners in an application
      4. Marshall: 2 questions
        1. If alone then ensure feasibility
        2. If joint then how do we fit in
      5. Marshall: Change outreach to feasibility. Lisa agrees. Katie agrees. Lauren: Move past funding to feasibility section. Lauren: Take 10% student impact and give it to feasibility.

    2. Does the rubric reflect our priorities and values? Do we want to make updates to bring our priorities and values into more alignment? May want to consider redistributing points from the “budget documents” section elsewhere? How will we reconsider our priorities given the campus budget deficit
