      1. Vir moves to amend the agenda to include an item regarding renaming the roles of SFAC from “member” to “analyst”. This would require a bylaw change.

      1. Marshall asks people to sign up for office hours so we can publicize them for folks who want to meet about the funding call.

      1. We can accept appeals related to missing the funding call workshop through Tuesday, December 2nd (5 working days). Lucy will send a calendar invite for the invitation.
      2. Be on the lookout for an email from Lucy with the recommendation from the appeals email and we will vote via Google Form.

    1. Chair:
      1. Academic Senate Meeting
        1. Marshall shares concerns of faculty hiring and further budget reductions with the Silicon Valley Campus. He also reports he will share more information in his meeting with Akirah tomorrow.

      1. CSF Recap
        1. Five members went to UCSD for CSF. The meeting topic was focused on the cohort tuition model and conditions SFAC collectively made towards the changes being changed.
        2. Arielle shares how attending CSF allowed her to see SFAC on the UC level stage.
        3. Laila shares how the discussion and writing process was insightful and how each UC campuses do each their processes within auditing.
        4. Vir shares how comparing notes with different campuses was very valuable. UC Berkeley’s auditing process and financial transparency was interesting to learn and how UCSC could adopt those practices.
        5. Mel hopes more members can attend at UCSB for winter, but reminds that UCSC will be hosting for spring quarter. Outreach Committee will begin planning for spring CSF itinerary soon.

        1. Last Thursday could not table due to unfortunate rain. Posted funding call flier and the CSF Recap Instagram post. Member Monday posts. Every Friday to post Fee of the Week (Fee Friday).
        2. Contacted Oakes Senate, still waiting to hear back. Encourages Outreach Committee to come with her to Oakes meeting to have someone apply to be Oakes representative.

    2. Inspired by UC Berkeley. Vir justifies this name change from “representative” to “analyst” is essential to appear more professional on resumes.
    3. “Chair” → “Director of Budget Analysis.”
    4. “Vice Chair” → “Associate Director of Budget Analysis.”
    5. “Representative” → “Budget Analyst.”
    6. Changes all references to “representative(s)” → “analyst(s).”
    7. Sezona’s title will be revisited when he’s present at the next meeting.
    8. Nick motions to change bylaws. Vir seconds.

    2. 67% of their fee once they hit 15% carryforward. Before that, 40% from 15-30% – carry forward based on their expenditures. Anything above 30% will be 10%.

    1. Marshall invites SFAC to attend a Regents Meeting on March 17th. Very relevant to SFAC.
    2. Will occur on a school day, Lucy could write notes to our professors to leverage her position/taking final exams early.
    3. Lisa mentions these meetings are also recorded.
    4. Marshall encourages people to make an oral comment if they want to attend.
    5. The meeting date is unfortunately during finals week of winter quarter.
    6. Maya adds how this is a valuable experience given the changes made to the cohort tuition and the RTA.
    7. Seven hands raised in wanting to go.
    8. Regents agreed to expand the cohort tuition model by 7yrs + 1% step increase + up to 4% interest based on California CPI (banking system) + decrease RTA to 45% to get it up to 35% composite rate.
