-
- Application due end of Fall

-
-
Have the workshop deadline a few weeks before so that it is not done the day before it needs to be completed
-
-

The consultation component, folks have a set time to meet with SFAC members so people can plan and not leave it last minute if possible so students can have that flexibility, but also making sure we also have the capacity or have an appointment based consultation
Multiple options so we are flexible and can make sure students can meet with SFAC members
Google application poll
Write down and track the different units that come in and talk with the members so that it is easier to track
We want the funding call out at the beginning of fall rather than the end
For our last meeting next week, we can possibly book room 307 since 61 and 212 are both booked
-
- Winter
-
- Read
- Begin review
- Complete recommendations and trimming by end of winter
-
- Winter
Begin with the bulk work of readings and suggestions
We should have all of the files done by winter, and then be able to work on the sheet
Either reading the proposals during winter break or take the first 2 weeks of winter to read the different applications
-
- Spring
-
- Projects, vistations etc.
- Funding call & Timeline and memorandum work to have ready starting following Fall
-
- Spring
Spring would be the best time for CSF meetings for us to host, and we said definitely not during winter
Lucy and Lydia just need a but of a heads up and there could be a heads up by july-ish
- Funding Application Work
Changing the character limit to four brief sentences, this forces people to focus on the most important aspects of the proposals and makes it easier to look back at the proposal
FOAPAL skip the FOAPAL question to student orgs but we need that to transfer the money
Are they a registered student org - are you officially affiliated with the university
(Please share what department you are affiliated with or your organization advisor ) - for student orgs
Organization,
Workshop and consultation: people are still submitting the application with questions
Workshop/consultation deadline december 1st - week 9
Meet once with an SFAC member or attend a workshop
Just stress that if they still have questions they can reach out to individual members
A member checks their form before they submit to go over any questions they might have
Have a survey or form where people submit their questions and people answer
Possibly recommend to first time applicants to schedule a one on one with an SFAC member or if time permits work on the application with the applicant at the workshop
Next week talk about quantity and scheduling of workshops so they are preplanned
In the form, have a section where there is the question form
Make sure that the meeting or workshop part of the application is required to move forward with the application
For the historically excluded community student impact box if people choose this : If applicable, elaborate on which historically excluded communities your program is supporting?
Create a little guide for the members during a consultation
Assess the budget sheet for people to fill out and a way for people to fill out the table
Condensing the application and just having different components for the different sections
Draft for SSF, letter c - we can use this and start working from there, how we want to separate the different sections for EMH and M7
Q: Students might not know whether they qualify for SSF. EMH, or M7 so how would we distinguish this
A: Ask a specific question and then when they answer have it jump to a specific page and then list the units that are not going to qualify
These questions are specific and they way they answer will determine how we look at the different orgs
If it is academic related no student fee would be eligible - no SSF or M7
A good question to ask to determine their eligibility
Suggestions for lunch for next week
L & L Hawaiian BBQ
Taqueria Santa Cruz
Woodstocks
Send out a google form - for thursday or the weekend for people to showup
